About Artist and Work Process:
Zulquernain is an established artist working since 1997. His work has been honored with national awards and gold medal in calligraphy. He has had multiple groups and solo shows nationally and internationally.
Zulqernan sees calligraphy as divine inspiration. Experiments with new impressions in his work are inspired from Quranic verses. Through using the element of repetition, rhythm and harmony, he creates poetry like calligraphy. Dancing and floating word on the surface of the painting gives an ethereal feel to the viewer. He develops his work in multiple layers to give it depth and an abstract illusion.
