About Artist and Work Process:
Tahir was born in Chitral, and completed his bachelor’s in Fine Arts from National College of Arts in 2017.
Mainly working with black and white he tries to capture the natural forms and textures of landscapes etched in his mind. He is drawn towards using organic sculptures and textures, and has adopted an abstract expressionist style to capture natural textures like rough, smooth, sharp and grainy. He wants to use his art to explore new and different possibilities and translate the infinite notion of time and space as seen in the natural world.
