Fahad is a Lahore-based visual artist. Fahad graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore, with a distinction in 2021. Despite his unique mode of communication due to being hearing impaired, Fahad possesses a remarkable ability to comprehend people by observing their actions and expressions. A prevalent observation in Fahad’s work is the universal tendency for individuals to adhere to rules and resort to aggression in pursuit of success and power, often disregarding the impact on others. Symbolically employing the image of a rooster, Fahad illustrates this innate behavior we all possess. The rooster, trained to fight, reflects how we sometimes act impulsively to advance ourselves. Through his art, Fahad prompts viewers to contemplate the delicate balance between societal norms and primal instincts and how society influences our identities.
