Laiba’s artwork revolves around the circumstances of identity. The identity she is holding in her society, surroundings, and to herself. We tend to behave differently, according to our environment, our gatherings and our social activities. Like with friends, family, colleagues and in isolation our behavior vary. But our true self comes out when we are alone. Many of us experience different types of social pressure in our lives, due to which we fail to remember what we are sent for. Laiba thinks that’s the main purpose of life, finding your inner self. We spend our whole life, pleasing others, ignoring ourselves and in return our individuality gets lost in all that chaos. We start neglecting ourselves. Our inner self is hiding somewhere inside us, we want to set ourselves free but we can’t, we want to find ourselves and whatever the
reasons are behind all of this, Laiba said that one should and have to be free, to identify themselves. We are living in the outer space not inner. The outer world is so limited, but there is no limit inside us.
