About Artist and Work Process:
Shanze is Islamabad based visual artist currently working as a Visiting Faculty member of the National College of Arts (Rawalpindi Campus) from where she also completed her BFA (hons). She has widely exhibited her work nationally with group shows in United States, New Zealand, Taiwan and Turkey.
Her work is based on the careful observation of daily encounters. She explores everyday lived realities and expresses them as an aesthetic ideal. Her is an ongoing fascination with mundane living spaces, objects and experiences that conceal a multitude of experiences that can work as any sort of narration or interpretation.
