Muhammad Reza Khan is (born in 1993, in Quetta, Baluchistan) and graduated in 2022 from National College of Arts, Lahore. Majoring in Indo-Persian Miniature Painting.
Reza’s work is a reflection of the time spent in isolation and a sense of safety driven from it. Since childhood, he would step out of his home and wander away from our small town towards the mountains. The hike up offered this sense of peace and became a safe pondering spot since early age. Upon coming back to his home, due to the pandemic restrictions there was nothing to do, which is why Reza decided to revisit these places, and this paved a path of self-exploration and becoming more connected internally and spiritually after spending time in isolation. The purpose of these works is to portray that journey of self-reflection with a sense of safety in a scenery which has become a peaceful and spiritual sanctuary.
