Anamnesis III

Work is based on nostalgic recollections of my childhood association with the Walled city of Lahore. I am inspired by the cultural and religious norms and these customs played a vital part to evolve my artistic vision.
Anila Zulfiqar has done herPh.D. in Art &Design (Studio based Research)from the College of Art and Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore. She is a practicing artist and a writer with six solo shows, several groups shows and magazine articles to her credit. She is serving as a faculty member in the University of the Punjab, Lahore. Her work is based on nostalgic recollections of her childhood association with the Walled city of Lahore. She was inspired from her cultural and religious norms and these customs played a vital part to evolve her artistic vision.
