Mishal work revolves around my personal experiences related to childhood trauma and directly related to the masculine gaze. Growing up in a society where women experience unpleasant encounters with men every second, whether in private or public spaces. The artist uses mixed media in her work in order to engage the viewer with her concerns. Moreover, it’s a rebellion against all those norms our society has always ignored.
