Artist Statement:
Tahir is a self-taught artist based in Sargodha. He spent most of his childhood in a small village where he got the inspiration to paint natural landscapes. Light and shadow are his favorite subjects. Through using bright strokes of paint against a pastel background he has created a unique style in rural landscape painting in Pakistan.
