Born in Jhang, Momina H is a visual artist currently living and practicing in Lahore. She completed her bachelor’s from Punjab University College of Art and Design, Lahore (2021) and recently completed her Master of Visual Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore (2024). She has displayed her works at multiple art galleries in Pakistan.
Her work centers on the concept of home, with the spaces she considers home evolving over time. To tell her story of home, she incorporated slate chalkboards into her art practice, reflecting her childhood experiences. The art derived from these slates is arranged to form shapes that depict spaces that no longer exist. These pieces evoke a shared sense of nostalgia for both the viewers and her.
