Ethereal Light: The Art of Fluid Expression

The material comes alive on the canvas through the play of light, delicately breaking and traveling through each form and wave crafted by this refined artist. Abstract paintings, often in soft whites or iridescent hues, offer a tactile experience where light takes center stage. As time passes, light transforms the artwork, inviting viewers to witness its shifting essence.

These minimalist pieces create a seamless flow within a space, bringing calm, freedom, and serenity. Acting as windows to an ethereal realm, the light dances across textures, illuminating every corner with its radiant glow. They effortlessly brighten any environment, offering a meditative experience that touches the soul and transforms the surroundings. The interplay of color, form, and light invites a personal dialogue between the artwork and the observer, making each encounter a unique journey.

Her artworks are more than mere creations; they are living entities with a soul. They have been my steadfast companions—friends, confidants, and patient listeners. Through the ebb and flow of life, they’ve consoled, nurtured, and strengthened me. As I delved into the world of spirituality, particularly Sufism, my work transformed, embodying spiritual colors, symbols, and meanings. Two elements are paramount in my art: colors—the language of the subconscious, and symbols—the threshold between the physical and the metaphysical. My exploration centers on the profound relationship between the divine and human existence.

Site- Specific Project Description

“Entering the Delhi Gate of Lahore's walled city, one is immediately immersed in a vibrant market alive with the aromas of herbs and spices. The atmosphere buzzes with energy, reminiscent of the fairy tale "Ali Baba." Among the most captivating sights are men carrying DANDASA—twisted strips of walnut tree bark that evoke cherished childhood memories. I recall my mother using it for whitening her teeth but then it also imparted a deep reddish hue to her lips.

Thus it serves  more than a simple tool; it represents a bridge between tradition and identity, reflecting the power of nature in nurturing well-being.just like their rigid nature These dark twisted barks r a symbolism of  resilient existence against all odds  since centuries against change .

Seeking solace from the chaos, I retreat to the Shahi Hamam, where warm pastel walls and intricate floral patterns create a calming escape. Just as the herbs and spices outside reflect centuries of tradition, the hamam embodies the warmth and comfort of holistic healing.

In this work, I explore the duality of the bustling market and serene hamam, inviting viewers to appreciate the enduring power of natural remedies. By weaving together personal memory and cultural reflection, I encourage a deeper connection to the treasures that shape our identities and well-being, reminding us of the importance of honoring our roots.
