About Artist and Work Process:
Encouraged to practice drawing and painting since childhood, Michelle studied at Ontario College of Art and Design in Canada, and worked as an illustrator and website designer. To further explore art she joined the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto, where she learned 18th century drawing and painting techniques, portraiture, figurative painting and still life with oil paints, charcoal and graphite.
Her first art exhibition using oil and charcoal of four portraits in a group portraiture exhibition was displayed at Art Chowk, Karachi. She self-studied landscape painting and displayed her landscape painting in soft pastels at Alhamra Art Gallery, Lahore. Her latest experiment on the canvas was with oil pastels and displayed at Alhamra Art Gallery in 2017.
