Sadia a fine artist by profession and started her studio practice in 2001 shortly after graduating from the National College of Arts, Lahore. Since then she has exhibited her work publicly at various occasions; some of her solo shows being at The Commune (Karachi) in 2007 and The Warehouse (Karachi) in 2012.She has presented in various group displays at Al Hamra, Lahore and The National Art Gallery, Islamabad.

Sadia, other than being an artist, is also an aspiring poetess. Her first book of verses titled: ‘A Scatter of Verses, Prose and Paintings’ was published by the Liberty Books in February 2021, in which she recordsher journey as an artist and poet during the past two decades in the book. Recently, her poetry wasshowcased at the Karachi Literature Festival 2021 in their poetry session, ‘Atlantic Muse by The Arabian Sea’.

Currently, Sadia is compiling her next book of verses and paintings that were showcased in the exhibition ‘Sociology is Not Common Sense’ at the inaugural show of ArtSoch’s second branch: ArtSoch Gallery in Dha Phase 6, Lahore. She is also working on a comparative study of Allama Iqbal’s poetry and Hazrat Ali Hajveri’s doctrine, ‘The Kashf Al Mahjub’, both of which, are to be published in the nearby future.
