About Artist and Work Process:
Namrah’s work engages with the meaning of being alive; engaging with the seen and trusting the unseen. The development and formatting of her paintings aim at reinterpreting an image in a dynamic world. She interweaves realistic figures and sporadic mark making to give an unexpected effect which feels natural in its evolution. The resulting imagery depicts slow growth of an ever changing being towards self-discovery and realization.
